NuStream Events and the platform are owned and operated by NuStream Entertainment LLC.
Talent Show Structure
There will be 4 groups competing in the competition. Auditions will be conducted in each group. The top 10 finishers at the auditions for each group will move on to the semi-finals. The top 3 finishers in the semi finals for each group will then compete in the finals. A total of 12 students will compete in the finals. The top three finishers will receive awards and prizes.
Groups
The groups will include Group 1 & 2: Hillsborough county / Group 3 Hernando & Pasco counties / Group 4: Pinellas county.
Talent Show Eligibility
The competition is open to contestants ages 11 to 18 who are enrolled in middle school or high school and live in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Hernando, and Pasco counties.
The contestants must be 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent / legal guardian join the competition.
Registration
An 18 year old, or parent / legal guardian (for contestants under the age of 18) must submit the registration form for their contestant to audition and compete in the talent competition.
All contestants must register by the registration deadline to enter the competition.
Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
The individual who completed the registration form warrants that all information submitted for the registration is accurate, complete, and not misleading in any way, including their identity, age, or any other required information that is submitted for the competition registration.
Any acts that damage the venue or inflict harm on anyone at the venue will be removed from the venue and be subject to legal action if required.
By registering, the 18 year old or parent / legal guardian agree to abide by these terms and conditions listed in this document.
There is no fee to enter the talent competition.
Competition Rules
All attendees and contestants must follow instructions provided by the competition promotor NuStream Entertainment LLC.
All work must be original. Plagiarism or copied material will result in disqualification.
Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or misconduct will result in disqualification.
This is a family show. Any use of inappropriate language, behavior, or content by the contestants or the parents / legal guardian will result in disqualification.
NuStream Entertainment will make the final decision on all winners, and the decision cannot be appealed. Recommendations made by the judges, voting by the fans, will be considered by NuStream Entertainment in the decision making process.
Each act can be a maximum of 5 minutes. This is strictly enforced.
A maximum of 3 contestants can participate in each act.
A contestant can only compete in one act.
The acts must be conducted in English.
Props are allowed as long as they can be set up and removed quickly, The props need to be safe and
11 to 18 years old age appropriate. No fire, sharp objects, or dangerous material will be allowed.
The dress code for attendees and participants will need to be 11 to 18 years old age appropriate.
NuStream has the right to deny access to or remove anyone for a violation of the dress code.
Costumes for the participants are allowed as long as they follow dress code rules and don't interfere with their safety
Participants can bring their own Instrument. They will not be supplied by NuStream.
A maximum of 36 acts will be allowed compete in each audition in each group. The acts in the auditions will be determined on a first come first serve basis at the time of registration.
All acts need to be at the auditions, semi-finals, and finals at least 1 hour prior to the start of the events, or they can be disqualified.
Judging Criteria
The auditions will be judged by a panel of judges from the NuStream Team.
The Semi-Finals and the Final will be judged by the fans voting. The judges role in the semi-finals and final will be to provide commentary after each act for entertainment purposes only.
NuStream Entertainment will make the final decision on all winners from the judges panel
and fan voting.
The criteria for judging will be based on talent & skill, creativity, stage presence, and overall performance.
Please note, this is not a popularity contest. The winner should be based on the merit of their performance.
Code of Conduct
Disrespectful behavior towards judges, organizers, fans, and other competitors by the attendees will result in removal from the venues.
Parents / legal guardians are responsible for supervising the children. The contestants and attendees agree to hold NuStream Entertainment harmless for any issues, injuries, or damages that may occur.
Prizes
Cash prizes will be given to the top 3 finalists in the final competition.
Other prizes, and awards will also be given out at the discretion of NuStream Entertainment. These are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prizes or cash equivalent.
A potential distribution deal might be offered to the 12 acts that compete in the finals. The deal will need to be finalized on approval from by the contestant who is 18 years old, or the parent / legal guardian for the contestants under the age of 18 years old, and NuStream Entertainment. There is no guarantee of a distribution deal.
A potential talent management deal might be offered to the 12 acts that compete in the finals. There is no guarantee of a management deal.
The contestants and attendees agrees to hold NuStream Entertainment harmless for any prizes offered by a third party that are not delivered. The contestant / legal guardian will need to work directly with the 3rd party to resolve the prize distribution.
NuStream Entertainment reserves the right to modify or substitute the prizes if necessary.
Rights & Permissions
By participating in the talent competition, the contestant who is 18 years old, or the parent / legal guardian for contestants under the age of 18, and the contestants grant NuStream Entertainment permission to use of their names, photographs, videos, and likeness for promotional and general use related to the talent competition.
NuStream Entertainment will own the rights to any content created from the NuStream talent competition.
The 18 year old contestant or parent / legal guardian (for contestants under the age of 18) agree that no compensation will be paid for the participants competing in the talent show, outside of the prizes and awards.
The contestants and attendees agree to hold the NuStream Entertainment harmless for any unauthorized use of the content by any 3rd party. The contestants and attendees will need to resolve this directly.
Safety & Liability
NuStream will take reasonable precautions to ensure public safety at the events by partnering with the events and providing police & security at the events.
It is the responsibility of the parent / legal guardian to supervise their kids and keep them safe at the audition and competitions. The parent / legal guardians along with their kids agree to hold NuStream Entertainment harmless for any liability, injury, damages, or loss the may occur during the talent competition.
Any acts that damage the venue or inflict harm on anyone at the venue will be removed from the venue and be subject to legal action if required.
Attendees to the NuStream Talent Show attend the events at their own risk. The attendees agree to hold NuStream Entertainment harmless for any damages or injuries that occur at the events.
NuStream is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
Distribution Deal
The distribution deal with NuStream Entertainment LLC will be determined for each piece of content. There are no long term contracts for the distribution of the content. Separate terms and conditions will apply to each piece of content distributed.
Talent management might be available upon request, depending on various factors. A talent management agreement will need to be approved by all parties involved.
NuStream reserves the right to remove the content from the distribution network at NuStream Entertainment's discretion at anytime.
General
NuStream Entertainment LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event conducted by NuStream Entertainment LLC. No damages will be paid if this occurs.
The contestants, attendees, and sponsors agree to hold NuStream Entertainment LLC harmless for any
malfunction, damages, or losses that may occur on the NuStream Entertainment LLC platforms that are the result of technical issues, third party intervention, hacking, theft, or any other reason. No damages will be paid if this occurs.
The contestants will be responsible for their own applicable taxes for the prizes and awards.
There is no guarantee on the number of acts will be in the talent competition.
There is no guarantee on the number of viewers for the content distributed online.
The participants and attendees agree to hold NuStream Entertainment LLC harmless for any malfunction, damages, or losses that may occur during the distribution of the funds to their financial institution, that are the result of technical issues, third party intervention, hacking, theft, or any other reason.
Agreement
NuStream Entertainment reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, for any
reason. The terms and conditions will be updated on a routine basis. It is up to the participants and
attendees to review the updated terms and conditions.
By agreeing to and submitting the terms and conditions, the parent / legal guardian and their kids acknowledge that they have read, understand, and will comply with the rules and terms conditions listed above.
